Han Dynasty Wheel with Jonathan Bosworth

Jonathan Bosworth will be talking about the Han
dynasty reproduction wheel he has made. It was produced based on study of a
stone carving from the Eastern Han dynasty, 200 BC-ca25 AD. This wheel has
multiple spindles, uses an unusual ‘oar-lock’ mechanism, and is the first known
use of a belt-drive. Please join Jonathan for this exciting lecture.
