Come and learn about spinning cotton from Sarah Buchanan.
Sarah will provide natural cotton, cotton punis, and dyed sliver (supply fee of $2 per member ($4.00 for non-members) She will also provide some tahklis if this is a technique you'd like to try. This will be an evening of learning techniques and tips from an expert, aimed at those of us with cotton experience and newbies alike. In addition, some members who spin cotton on wheels will be there to demonstrate that technique. Bring a tahkli (with a little bowl to spin it in) if you have one. If you want to try spinning on your wheel, bring your fastest whorl.
