Chris Majaukas of Valkyrie Combs will be joining us to demonstrate combs and hackles. Wool combs can be extremely useful for processing longer staple fleece. We will be able to try out the combs using some Lincoln fleece and possibly some Romney as well.
Chris will have some equipment for sale, so bring your check book if you're interested. If you have some washed dry fleece (even with VM in it) that you'd like to try to comb, bring it along. You may also bring your own combs. Wheels are welcome - you may want to try spinning some fiber that you comb!
